OUR STORY
Hey y'all I'm Aaron Knepp, welcome to Green Acres Grass Fed Livestock! My wife Keturah and I began our adventure together in 2008 when we purchased our first home and land on which to start our own farm and raise our family.
As our sons grew older we began looking for ways in which we could teach them responsibility and keep them out of trouble. It was around this time in 2015 that I was first introduced to a company looking for producers to supply pasture eggs for eating. In 2016 we built 2 poultry houses and with the help of our sons, began producing and selling eggs.
When we added cattle and sheep to our growing farm the litter produced in our poultry houses provided a great All Natural fertilizer for our pastures. This allowed us to begin raising All Natural Grass Fed livestock free of any products that would compromise their immune system.
Here at Green Acres our goal is to produce 100% grassfed beef and lamb that our customer can depend on to be All Natural and Healthy
ALL NATURAL - GRASS FED
We believe the key to producing All Natural Grass Fed livestock is rotational grazing. Our cattle and sheep are moved daily to ensure they always have fresh grass. Through rotational grazing we are able to produce livestock that are healthy and have never been injected with products that will compromise their immune system.
